"Callie" is a soft plaid wool and boucle fabric hat. She is perfect for chilly weather and will keep you cozy warm (and stylish!) this winter. The top and brim of the hat is a pretty plaid in gray, white and beige. The side crown is an ivory boucle fabric with a bit of gold mylar sparkle that started life as an unworn skirt. It's topped with a water marked gray metallic ribbon laced through a vintage carved plastic buckle. It has an asymmetrical 1920s small brim and is easily packed for travel. Wear the brim down for more of a bucket shape or flip it back for another fun look that has a vintage vibe.

This hat will be fun to style with so many of your favorite outfits. Fully lined with soft cotton fabric and an inner grosgrain headband.

FIT AND SIZE:
Comfortably fits a 21 to 22 inch head size.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HEAD SIZE:
Place a flexible tape measure around the widest part of your head above your ears and eyebrows, where the hat will sit. Take this measurement three times to make sure it’s accurate. Generally speaking, a small range is 20-21 inches; medium is 21 ½ to 22 ½ inches and large is 23 to 24 inches.

ABOUT THE MAKER: I have been making hats since 2004. My hats have been showcased in the Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville, Kentucky since 2010, when I received the Judges Choice Award. I am honored to have had a hat chosen for display at The Great Hat Exhibition in London in March, 2018. I have won Best of Show at the Greater Cleveland Gallery Fest and many gallery and show awards over the years.
